Infection Control – How We Protect Your Health
Here at Esthetic Reflections in Dentistry, your safety is our number one priority. That’s why we prioritize infection control. We take the time to sterilize our facility from top to bottom, and our doctors and hygienists all prioritize cleanliness to protect both your health and ours.
Our Commitment to Infection Control and Safety
Drs. Chen, Skelton, and the rest of our staff here at Esthetic Reflections in Dentistry go above and beyond all of the procedures recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, as well as those outlined by the EPA and the CDC. We make sure to use all recommended measures, including:
- Safe and Effective Disinfectant Hand Soap
- Gloves and Masks for All Procedures
- OSHA/CDC Recommended Chemical Disinfection for All Surfaces
- Thorough Equipment Sterilization
- Frequent Use of Disposable Materials, and More
Every piece of equipment we use is sterilized, including our dental hand pieces, and we use a device called an autoclave that eliminates bacteria and viruses using heat from steam.
We voluntarily engage in regular inspections to ensure that we are fully compliant with all proper sterilization practices. Our most recent inspector reported that our office was one of the most sterile and safe he had ever seen. That’s a commitment we take very seriously.
If at any time you have questions or concerns about any of our infection control procedures, or you’d like to learn more about what it means and why it is so important, you are more than welcome to call us at any time at Esthetic Reflections in Dentistry Phone Number 916-983-6051.
